Job summary

Cisco ThousandEyes is seeking visionary Software Engineers to join the Autonomous Security team. You will design, build, and deploy AI agents that act as autonomous security researchers and first responders, moving from human-in-the-loop to human-on-the-loop, creating a self-healing infrastructure.

You will integrate AI tools with CI/CD, orchestrate security across Kubernetes, and help deploy self-healing patches and real-time threat mitigation in a global Cisco environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and cloud-native security.
• Experience with LLMs or agentic workflows.
• Python or Go automation and IaC (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Hands-on with Kubernetes service mesh and GitOps tools.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and CVE lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI agents for autonomous security research.
• Develop self-healing pipelines for patches and updates.
• Create AI-driven threat detection and real-time WAF updates.
• Integrate security tooling into CI/CD lifecycle.
• Build security orchestration across tools and alerts.
