Job summary

Capgemini in Warsaw is seeking a Data/AI Engineer at the intersection of data engineering, generative AI and agent-based systems. You will design and build enterprise-grade AI solutions using AI agents, LLMs and data platforms to translate AI capabilities into real business value.

You will work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) with a path to Vertex AI, design and operate data pipelines, ingest and transform data, and prepare data for AI workloads.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Data Engineering.
• Solid knowledge of Python.
• Experience designing and operating data pipelines.
• Hands-on work with SQL and analytical data stores.
• Understanding of data modeling, data quality, and data governance.
• Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) & tool calling.
• Practical experience with LLMs and generative AI beyond experimentation.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native data services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud-based data pipelines and platforms for analytics.
• Ingest, transform, and manage structured and unstructured data with quality and governance.
• Prepare and expose data for AI and generative AI workloads.
• Collaborate with AI teams to build data-driven AI solutions with Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise.
• Translate business data requirements into scalable, enterprise architectures.
