Job summary

Capgemini Polska is seeking a Data Engineer at the intersection of data engineering, AI, and agent-based systems. You will design and build enterprise-grade AI-enabled data platforms and pipelines, working with Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

You will ingest, transform, and expose data for AI workloads while ensuring data quality, governance, and reliability. Collaboration with AI teams and clients is key to translating business data requirements into scalable

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data engineering.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience designing and operating data pipelines.
• Hands-on SQL and analytical data stores experience.
• Understanding of data modeling, quality and governance.
• Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Knowledge of tool/callable functions and agent concepts.
• Practical experience with LLMs and generative AI.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with cloud-native data engineering services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud-based data pipelines and platforms for analytics and downstream use cases.
• Ingest, transform, and manage structured and unstructured enterprise data with quality and governance.
• Prepare and expose data for AI and generative AI workloads with retrieval-ready datasets.
• Collaborate with AI teams to build data-driven AI solutions using Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise.
• Translate customer data requirements into scalable, enterprise-ready architectures.
