Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Data Engineer to bridge data engineering with AI workloads in a cloud-native environment. You will design and operate data pipelines, manage data quality, and prepare data for AI and generative AI workloads, collaborating with AI teams to deliver enterprise-scale solutions.

You will work with Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise, and major cloud providers, turning business data requirements into scalable architectures for analytics and AI applications.

Qualifications

• Solid experience building cloud-based data pipelines and platforms.
• Strong Python and SQL capabilities, with data modeling and governance knowledge.
• Hands-on with LLMs, generative AI and retrieval systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud-based data pipelines and platforms.
• Ingest, transform, and manage structured/unstructured data with quality control.
• Prepare data for AI workloads and expose feature-ready datasets.
• Collaborate with AI teams to deploy data-driven AI solutions.
