Job summary

Woodward Inc. Aerospace Electronics department designs and produces electronic controllers for aerospace and defense systems.

We seek an Electronic Component Engineer to support project development and flawless manufacturing transition for aerospace products. You will review components, assist development teams in part selection, and manage item data in our Woodward ERP system, including obsolescence evaluation and supplier coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics, mechatronics or related field.
• Experience with electronic components: procurement, quality, production, repair.
• Understanding of electronics specifications (electrical, mechanical, environmental).
• Basic knowledge of analog/digital circuits.
• Good PC skills and software literacy.
• Strong teamwork and communication, English and Polish proficient.

Responsibilities

• Review components against approved vendors and preferred parts lists.
• Provide technical support to development teams for part selection.
• Update items and populate characteristics in Woodward database.
• Evaluate replacements for obsolete electronic components.
• Prepare engineering changes and ERP-related documents.
• Prepare obsolescence reports for customer needs.
• Coordinate with PCB assembly manufacturers on component issues.
• Review component changes from manufacturers for impact.
