Woodward Inc. is seeking an Electronics Component Engineer to support aerospace product development and manufacturing transitions. You will review and select electronic components, maintain BOMs, and coordinate with suppliers and PCB manufacturers in a hybrid environment.

The role emphasizes part specification, obsolescence management and engineering change processes, with a focus on reliability for aerospace power electronics and inverters. Fluency in English and Polish is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics, mechatronics or related field.
• Experience with electronic components procurement, quality, production or repair.
• Understanding electronic components specifications (electrical, mechanical, environmental, tech parameters).

Responsibilities

• Review components against approved vendors and preferred parts lists.
• Support development teams in selecting new parts for designs.
• Update items and populate characteristics in Woodward database.
• Evaluate replacements for obsolete components.
• Prepare Engineering Changes and Change Requests in Woodward ERP.
• Prepare obsolescence reports per customer requirements.
• Coordinate with PCB assembly contract manufacturers for component issues.
• Review changes from manufacturers for impact on existing designs.
