Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Service Technician II to perform general maintenance and repairs on all material handling equipment, automated systems, and conveyors across customer sites. You will schedule PMs, diagnose and fix issues, and maintain thorough service records.

The role requires teamwork, field communication, and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of mechanic experience, electrical/hydraulic troubleshooting skills, and proficiency with work order

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED or tech school graduate.
2-4 years of mechanic experience with material handling equipment.
ASE Certification preferred; silver/gold preferred.
Electrical journeyman certification preferred.
Electrical and pneumatic experience preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems on multiple equipment types.
Proficiency with email, work order management software, and mobile apps.
Able to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Self-motivated, able to work independently or in a team.
Lift up to 50 lbs and supply own hand tools; able to operate lift trucks.

Responsibilities

Schedule Planned Maintenance (PM) for Fleet Services Equipment and keep PM records up to date.
Perform corrective repairs and preventive maintenance on MHE, batteries, and conveyors.
Communicate with site managers regarding equipment status, timelines, and issues
Meet or exceed performance metrics like response times and PM completion.
Manage equipment condition, parts, and inventory records; coordinate parts with Parts team.
Access OEM software platforms for diagnostics, troubleshooting, and programming.
Use manuals and schematics to diagnose issues and perform adjustments or replacements.
Ensure OSHA and site safety compliance; maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Travel up to ~25% as required; interact professionally with customers and coworkers.
