Job summary
ABB in Poland is seeking a maintenance technician to service and improve production machines and automation equipment. You will diagnose electrical and control faults, program PLCs, and operate HMI/SCADA systems to keep lines running smoothly.
This role requires technical education with up to 1 kV qualifications, knowledge of automation systems, and willingness to work in two shifts. Familiarity with TPM/CMMS (SAP) is a plus, and a Category B driving license is helpful.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to program PLC controllers.
- Experience with HMI/SCADA systems.
- Skilled in reading electrical diagrams and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems.
- Willingness to work in two shifts.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and service production machines and automation equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and control system failures.
- Program and configure PLC controllers.
- Operate HMI panels and SCADA systems.
- Document failures and repairs in the TPM/CMMS system.
- Develop, optimize, and implement maintenance solutions with engineering.
