Job summary

Amentum is seeking qualified candidates to support maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and military vehicles. The role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, including guidance to shop personnel and compliance with manuals and regulations.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least 6 years of related experience, with strong English language skills.

Qualifications

Must have the ability to analyze and interpret U.S. Army Technical Manuals with relation to vehicle maintenance and repair.
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

Inspects all maintenance and repair efforts of Heavy Equipment (Wheel).
May supervise and perform maintenance and inspections and advanced diagnostics at the direct support and general support level of maintenance and repairs of military heavy equipment: PLS (M1120A4 M1075), LHS (M1074’s).
Performs troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on various wheeled vehicles/equipment, both tactical and non-tactical.
Provides guidance and technical assistance to shop maintenance personnel on inspection principles of workmanship, procedures to be employed, and quality of work expected.
Ensures compliance with government and corporate regulations, SOPs, directives, and technical manuals to establish and maintain a quality management program.
