Job summary

Aviva Services Excellence Centre in Warsaw is offering a 6-month paid internship for students or graduates in quantitative fields. You will join a diverse, international team and gain hands-on experience in investment operations and financial data management.

Hybrid work from Poland with a few days in the Warsaw office each month; you will support reporting processes, develop tools, automate tasks, and test model changes, with opportunities to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Student or graduate in a quantitative field such as mathematics, economics, statistics, or quantitative methods in economics.
• Intermediate level of English.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Availability for 3-4 days per week.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for work.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with Python programming is a plus.

• Supporting the cyclical assets reporting process in close collaboration with colleagues in the UK
• Conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis of actuarial reporting results,
• Participating in the development of tools and models
• Improving and automating processes
• Preparing documentation related to reporting processes
• Testing model changes as part of UAT.

What are we looking for?
