Job summary

Aviva Services Excellence Centre in Poland is seeking experienced actuarial/data professionals to deepen technical expertise and influence solution design. The role offers opportunities to work in a global environment and to shape solutions with a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture.

You will automate data workflows, own end-to-end development of model input processes, and contribute to tools, processes and standards within a high-impact actuarial team.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of actuarial, analytical, modelling or data-focused experience.
• Experience in actuarial modelling.
• Strong ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

What will you be doing?

• Automate data workflows and processes
• Take ownership of the end-to-end development of actuarial model input processes
• Develop, enhance, and maintain analytical and actuarial tools and models
• Translate business needs into robust technical solutions and document design decisions
• Act as a senior point of contact within the team, supporting knowledge sharing and collaboration
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of tools, processes, and standards
• Design and implement high-quality, scalable solutions in line with internal best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data and model requirements and deliver robust solutions
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and security across all stages of the data lifecycle
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality, secure, and maintainable solutions

What we’re looking for

• ~3-7+ years of experience in actuarial, analytical, modelling or data-focused roles
• Experience in actuarial modelling
• Ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
• Strong problem-solving mindset and structured approach to analysis
• Experience working in a project-based environment, including prioritisation and ownership
• Very good command of English (spoken and written)
• Actuarial exams (completed or in progress) are a strong advantage
