Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an accounting professional to support process transitions between the Local Team and GBS, standardize processes with RTR experts, and manage postings for the general ledger. The role includes SOX controls preparation, period closings, asset transactions, bank reconciliations, and close collaboration with the team.

Requirements include 2+ years in Polish accounting, a relevant accounting degree or SKWP/ACCA, and business English (B2).

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting (Polish accounting preferred, at least 2 years).
• Academic degree or equivalent diploma in Accounting or official accounting certificate (e.g. SKWP, ACCA).
• Experience in transition process.
• Fluency in the English language in the business environment (at least B2).
• SAP & Blackline knowledge would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Take active part in transition of processes between Local Team and GBS organization.
• Standardize new processes in cooperation with RTR experts.
• Prepare internal and SOX controls – standard and newly taken over ones.
• Prepare manual and automatic postings and enter them into the general ledger.
• Close accounting periods according to the service contract and defined activities.
• Post and/or calculate prepayments, accruals and provisions.
• Open and close accounting periods in the books.
• Handle new/ongoing transactions on Fixed Assets (creation, changes, disposals, depreciation, reporting).
• Post bank statements and reconcile bank accounts.
• Provide job-related support for other team members.
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts and general ledger accounts.
• Assist in day-to-day administrative tasks.
• Perform other activities in the assigned accounting area as needed.
• Carry out duties ordered by the supervisor.
