Job summary

Coloplast in Szczecin is seeking a dedicated Accountant on a temporary 12-month contract to join our AP/AR teams. You will process payments, handle vendor inquiries, reconcile ledgers, and support month-end close in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires a university degree in finance or economics, very good English, strong MS Office skills, and attention to detail. Experience in accounts payable or receivable is preferred, with opportunities to develop in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with external/internal partners to resolve payment queries.
• Processing outgoing payment bookings via AP and GL modules.
• Performing month-end/year-end close activities including reconciliations.
• Offsetting advances against final invoices and reconciling direct debits.
• Responding to vendor queries and initiating process improvements.

About the department

The AP team is mainly responsible for processing, booking Coloplast's liabilities, creation and updating of vendor master data, vendors invoice verification and handling invoice queries. Come to join our ambitious and curious team! We are looking for smart and talented accountant to join our team supporting over 36 offices worldwide.

Currently, we are looking for a new colleague for a temporary contract (approx. 12 months) with a possibility to be prolonged.

Your responsibilities

• Processing payment cycles and manual payments in the bank platforms
• Processing sensitive manual payments (e.g. salary, employees' reimbursements)
• Communicate with external and internal business partners to resolve payment queries
• Processing outgoing payment booking via AP and GL modules
• Perform month end/year end closing activities including general ledger reconciliations
• Offsetting advance payments against final invoices
• Reconciliation direct debit payments with invoices
• Responding to vendor or local business partners queries
• Initiating process improvements

Requirements

• University degree - preferably in Finance, Accountancy or Economics
• Very good knowledge of English
• Proficient in MS Office tools
• Able to work with tight deadlines and with switching priorities
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience from Accounts Payable or Receivable processes
