Job summary

Coloplast in Szczecin is seeking a General Ledger Accountant. The role focuses on journal entries, asset bookkeeping, payroll processing and period-end closings within a global finance centre.

The ideal candidate has a university degree in finance-related fields, at least 1.5 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills and good English. Hybrid and onsite work options in Szczecin are available, with growth opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Processing of journal entries in the General Ledger.
• Fixed Asset and Leased Assets bookkeeping and reconciliation.
• Payroll processing.
• Inventory reconciliation for a production company.
• Accruals analysis.
• Period-end closing activities.
• Financial reporting processes for statutory, group and other reports.
• Accounts reconciliations (including intercompany).
• Monthly Balance Sheet and P&L analysis.
• Participate in Internal & External Finance Audit.
• Involvement in Finance projects.

About the department

The General Ledger teams are responsible for maintenance and reconciliation of General Ledger accounts. Days to days tasks include taking care of fixed assets, leased assets, inventory, payroll, accruals and other GL accounts and reporting financial packages. Come to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Processing of journal entries in the General Ledger
• Fixed Asset and Leased Assets bookkeeping and reconciliation
• Payroll processing
• Inventory reconciliation for a production company
• Accruals analysis
• Period-end closing activities
• Financial reporting processes for statutory, group and any other (ad hoc) financial reports within countries
• Accounts reconciliations (including intercompany reconciliations)
• Monthly Balance Sheet and P&L analysis
• Participate in Internal & External Finance Audit
• Involvement in Finance projects

Requirements:

• University degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics or similar
• Minimum 1,5 years of experience as an Accountant
