EF Education First Ltd. is seeking a finance professional to join our international team as Accountant. You will be involved in the monthly close, statutory accounting, tax compliance, and process improvement, working closely with our finance operations team, BPO provider, and external advisors.

This role offers increasing responsibility in accounting areas to grow into larger roles within EF and participate in shaping the finance function across a dynamic, global organization.

Formación

• 1 year finance or accounting experience.
• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
• Technical understanding of accounting principles and controls.
• Basic understanding of Polish GAAP, VAT, and statutory requirements.
• Basic understanding of statutory requirements in Czech Republic or Slovakia is an advantage.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership in a hands-on role.
• Fluent in English and Polish, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in other European languages is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Record G/L, A/R, A/P, and other accounting transactions.
• Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries and supporting schedules for month-end and year-end close.
• Support tax and statutory reporting with the Accounting Manager and external advisors.
• Provide documentation for audits and internal reviews, and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Work with BPO/shared-service teams and follow up on missing information or reconciling items.
• Collaborate with the local and regional operations teams.

This role offers increasing responsibility in accounting areas in order to grow into larger roles within EF.
