Job summary

Boston Scientific Poland is seeking an Account Manager for Endoscopy to drive sales growth and foster long-term customer partnerships across the assigned Polish territory. You will promote Boston Scientific Endoscopy solutions and support clinical teams in procedures.

The role requires 2–5 years in medical device sales, strong negotiation and communication skills, and fluency in Polish and English. Travel within the region is expected, with a hybrid work setup at times.

Qualifications

  • University degree in medicine, life sciences, pharmacy, business, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in medical device or medical equipment sales or similar.
  • Experience in gastroenterology, endoscopy, or minimally invasive surgery is a plus.
  • Fluency in Polish and English for business communication.
  • Valid Category B driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the territory.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets and drive growth of the endoscopy portfolio in the designated territory.

Role Purpose

The Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and executing Boston Scientific’s business strategy within the Endoscopy division across the assigned territory. The role focuses on building long-term customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting healthcare professionals in the effective use of Boston Scientific solutions, ultimately contributing to improved patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets and drive growth of the assigned endoscopy product portfolio within the designated territory.
  • Develop and implement market development plans and strategies for collaboration with key customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities, acquire new customers, and expand relationships with existing accounts.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with physicians, nurses, department heads, procurement teams, and hospital administrators.
  • Develop partnerships with key clinical centers and conduct regular sales and clinical visits.
  • Communicate the clinical and economic value of Boston Scientific products and solutions to customers.
  • Organize and deliver product training for healthcare professionals and other product users.
  • Provide support during medical procedures in clinical settings, in accordance with applicable procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and clinical trends, using these insights to identify business growth opportunities.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, manage the sales pipeline, and ensure timely and accurate reporting of activities in the CRM system.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service and respond effectively to customer needs and changing market conditions.
  • Represent the company at congresses, conferences, training sessions, and other industry and scientific events.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Care, and other business functions to achieve shared objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of regional and national business initiatives and strategies.
  • Conduct all activities in accordance with Boston Scientific policies, applicable laws and regulations, and the ethical and compliance standards governing the medical device industry.

Qualifications & Experience

  • University degree; preferably in medicine, life sciences, pharmacy, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in medical device or medical equipment sales, or in a comparable business environment.
  • Experience in gastroenterology, endoscopy, or minimally invasive surgery will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a results-oriented approach and a focus on achieving business objectives.
  • Proven ability to build and develop long-term customer relationships and understand customer needs.
  • Willingness and ability to provide clinical and educational support during medical procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to plan sales activities and effectively manage an assigned territory.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, accountable, and highly organized.
  • Fluency in Polish and a level of English that enables confident communication in a business environment.
  • Valid Category B driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory to support customers.
