Job summary

Techland is seeking an Environment 3D Artist to join a team building high-quality environments for AAA titles. You will craft 3D models and textures, set dress environments from concept art, and collaborate with Art Leads to ensure the artistic vision is realized.

You will work closely with other departments to optimize player experience and support asset outsourcing as needed. On-site in Wrocław or Warsaw; full remote work is not offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of AAA environment/prop art experience in game development.
• Solid understanding of next-gen asset creation workflows.
• Strong fundamentals in composition, color, and detail.
• Exceptional understanding of form, structure and silhouette for modelling.
• Proficient texturing and painting skills.
• Great knowledge of 3DsMax or Blender.
• Proficient in ZBrush, Photoshop, Substance 3D Painter.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 3D models and textures.
• Integrate assets into the game engine per technical requirements.
• Create environments and set dressing from concept art and references.
• Collaborate with Art Lead to realise the artistic vision.
• Work with other departments to enhance player experience.
• Coordinate with Production to keep estimates realistic.
• Support asset outsourcing with references and prototypes.
