Job summary

Techland Sp. z o. o. is seeking a skilled 3D Character Artist to craft human and creature characters for our next big title. You will work closely with the Lead Character Artist and Art Director to translate concepts into high-quality assets.

You’ll build meshes, textures, and materials, optimize them for our in-house C-Engine, and participate in an interdisciplinary team that brings characters to life in a rich game world. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years crafting realistic 3D character models and textures for AAA titles.
• Strong skills in Zbrush, 3ds Max/Maya/Blender, Marvelous Designer, Substance Painter, Photoshop.
• Solid understanding of human anatomy for believable characters.
• Experience with game engines (Unreal, Unity or in-house).
• Creative, story-driven characters and effective self-expression in a team.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D character models (humans, monsters) under Art Director guidance.
• Develop materials and textures for characters and ensure model quality.
• Integrate models into the C-Engine and demonstrate visual results.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and present work clearly.
• Learn and use internal tools to improve production pipelines.
