Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) invites applications for a WGSS/Hub Center Facilitator to deliver day-to-day center activities in a safe and inclusive environment in line with IRC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Intermediate Certificate in Social Sciences, Education, Psychology, Development Studies, or a relevant field from an HEC-recognized Board and university.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in protection, GBV, education, psychosocial support, or humanitarian programming.
• Strong facilitation, communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Good IT, documentation, and report-writing skills.
• Understanding of protection, GBV, safeguarding, gender, and PSS principles; humanitarian experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement approved curricula, activities, and session plans.
• Adapt facilitation methods to participants' age, gender, abilities, and needs.
• Ensure meaningful and safe participation of women, girls, men, boys, and vulnerable groups.
• Provide basic information and psychosocial support within the role scope.
• Identify participants needing specialized assistance and facilitate confidential referrals.
• Ensure referrals follow consent, confidentiality, safety, and client choice.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, confidential environment at the center.
• Report protection and safeguarding concerns through established mechanisms.
• Maintain attendance, activities, referrals, and participant feedback records.

IRC is implementing protection programming to provide safe, inclusive, and accessible services to women, girls, men, boys, and other vulnerable community members through Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSS) and Hub Centers.

The WGSS/Hub Center Facilitator will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation and facilitation of center activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, participatory, and protective environment in line with IRC standards and project objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Comply with IRC Safeguarding, PSEA, Child Safeguarding, and Code of Conduct requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, activities, referrals, and participant feedback.
• Prepare regular activity reports and submit required data on time.
• Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of participant information.
• Coordinate with Protection/GBV Case Workers, MHPSS staff, and other relevant project staff to ensure appropriate support and referrals.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and capacity-building activities.
• Perform other duties assigned by the line manager.
