Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) seeks a Hub Center Facilitator to implement and facilitate Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSS) and hub center activities. You will ensure a safe, inclusive, and protective environment in line with IRC standards and project objectives.

Responsibilities include delivering structured sessions on GBV awareness and life skills, providing psychosocial support, and coordinating referrals with protection and MHPSS teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Intermediate Certificate in Social Sciences, Education, Psychology, Development Studies, or a relevant field from an HEC-recognized Board and university.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in protection, GBV, education, psychosocial support, or humanitarian programming.
• Strong facilitation, communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Good IT, documentation, and report-writing skills.
• Good understanding of protection, GBV, safeguarding, gender, and PSS principles.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate structured sessions on GBV awareness, protection, life skills, health, gender, and psychosocial well‑being; adapt sessions by age and gender.
• Provide basic information and psychosocial support and facilitate safe referrals.
• Coordinate with Protection/GBV Case Workers and MHPSS staff to ensure support and referrals.
• Maintain a safe, confidential, non‑discriminatory center environment and report safeguarding concerns.
• Maintain attendance records, activity reports, and protect participant information.

IRC is implementing protection programming to provide safe, inclusive, and accessible services to women, girls, men, boys, and other vulnerable community members through Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSS) and Hub Centers. The WGSS/Hub Center Facilitator will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation and facilitation of center activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, participatory, and protective environment in line with IRC standards and project objectives.

2. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Intermediate Certificate in Social Sciences, Education, Psychology, Development Studies, or a relevant field from an HEC-recognized Board and university.
• At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience, including experience in protection, GBV,education, psychosocial support, or humanitarian programming.
• Strong facilitation, communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Good IT, documentation, and report-writing skills.
• Good understanding of protection, GBV, safeguarding, gender, and PSS principles.
• Previous experience in humanitarian settings is preferred.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Program Delivery and Facilitation Facilitate structured sessions on GBV awareness, protection, life skills, health, gender, and psychosocial well-being. Implement approved curricula, activities, and session plans. Adapt facilitation methods according to participants' age, gender, abilities, and needs. Ensure meaningful and safe participation of women, girls, men, boys, and vulnerable undefined
• Support and ReferralsProvide basic information and psychosocial support within the scope of the role. Identify participants requiring specialized assistance and facilitate safe and confidential referrals.
• Hub Centre FacilitatorEnsure referrals follow informed consent, confidentiality, safety, and client choice.
• Center Safety and SafeguardingMaintain a safe, inclusive, confidential, and non-discriminatory environment at the center. Identify and report protection and safeguarding concerns through established mechanisms. Apply Do No Harm, confidentiality, dignity, informed consent, and nondiscrimination principles. Comply with IRC Safeguarding, PSEA, Child Safeguarding, and Code of Conduct requirements.
• Monitoring and ReportingMaintain accurate records of attendance, activities, referrals, and participant feedback. Prepare regular activity reports and submit required data on time. Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of participant information.
• CoordinationCoordinate with Protection/GBV Case Workers, MHPSS staff, and other relevant project staff to ensure appropriate support and referrals. Participate in team meetings, training, and capacity-building activities. Perform other duties assigned by the line manager.
