Job summary

TechSurge Inc. seeks an experienced developer to drive Wealth management product development. You will work with product and design in an Agile environment to rapidly deliver robust solutions and maintain system stability.

Responsibilities include incident response, security patching, documentation, and coordination with global teams, with emphasis on WM systems and middleware APIs. Strong Java/Spring skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in the relevant domain.
• At least 4 years of software development experience with Agile.
• Excellent programming skills in Java/Spring, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, or .NET.
• Experience/working knowledge of HTML, XML, and frontend JavaScript framework.
• Database knowledge on SQL and Oracle.
• Experience with WebSphere and IIS.
• Strong passion for development and continual learning.
• Knowledge of pair programming, CI and test-driven development.
• Working knowledge of DevOps.
• Experience with a unit testing framework (JUnit).
• Experience with middleware APIs and MQ, EOD/SOD batch setup.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cross-functional to deliver Wealth management products with product and design.
• Use Agile engineering practices and various technologies to rapidly develop solutions.
• Ensure technical documentation and review of deliverables by milestones.
• Ensure daily BAU systems are stable with maximum system availability.
• Support BAU activities and involve DR activities.
• Apply security patches periodically and track progress till closure.
• Follow best practice engineering processes, practices and Agile behavior.
• Maintain effective communication and relationships with all stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Tech Dubai and Tech Bangalore.
• Responsible for development in WM area.
• Software configuration management and version control.
• Immediate attention to critical incidents and provide quick work around solutions.
• Incident management - raise incidents and track till RCA.
• Responsible for software maintenance of WM systems: Investment trading system and customer statement generation; hands-on development and configuration on FinIQ is an added advantage.
