Job summary

Rapid Labs is seeking a VoIP Engineer to expand VICIdial and Asterisk integrations for our AI-driven call center platform. You will connect client dialers, resolve routing issues, and help scale as we onboard more call centers.

The role requires production experience with VICIdial and Asterisk, solid SIP/ARI/AMI knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot live calls under pressure.

Qualifications

Production experience with VICIdial and Asterisk.
Strong grasp of SIP, ARI, AMI, and VoIP protocols.
Experience with dialer systems and outbound calling workflows.
Comfortable troubleshooting live call issues under time pressure.
Experience integrating third party platforms with VICIdial is a plus.

Responsibilities

Configure VICIdial and Asterisk for new client integrations
Manage call flow between our AI system and client dialers using ARI and AMI
Troubleshoot SIP trunking, call routing, and latency issues
Support warm transfer logic between AI agents and human closers
Collaborate on scaling infrastructure as call volume grows
Document integration steps for internal reference

We build AI voice agents for the call center and BPO industry, integrating with VICIdial and Asterisk dialer systems to power AI driven outbound calling. We're looking for an experienced VoIP engineer to support and expand our VICIdial integrations, working with our team to connect our platform to client dialers, resolve call routing issues, and scale as we onboard more call centers.
