Job summary

Translation Empire in Pakistan is seeking a VOIP/PBX Engineer to implement, support, and maintain the enterprise VoIP network systems and applications. The role requires strong knowledge of telephony technologies, UCS, circuits, and related techniques.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with Asterisk PBX on CentOS, FreePBX, and SIP stacks, and be capable of working across both development and operations teams. Office location is Phase 7, Bahria Town, Rwp/Isb.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in software/telecommunications engineering or CS from reputed university.
• 3-5 years of prior PHP development focused on VOIP/PBX.
• Critical thinker and problem solver.
• Committed to long-term with the company.

Job description

Translation Empire PK is looking to hire VOIP/PBX Engineer. Responsible for implementation, support, and maintenance of current and future enterprise VoIP network systems and applications. The candidate must be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of industry-standard telephony and UCS, circuits and techniques.

Experience:

• Good understanding of network communications & Multitasking programming & Debugging skills
• Experience with Asterisks PBX on Centos Machine is a must for this job
• Prior development experience on FREEPBX https://www.freepbx.org/
• Experience with VOIP technologies and audio quality control
• Experience with sip stacks is better (Pjsip, Resiprocate, freeswitch etc.)

Qualification/Skills:
