Job summary

ICMPD Türkiye Temsilciliği in Pakistan is seeking a Project Management Assistant to support the EU-funded project “Support to Integrated Border Management in Pakistan” and related border initiatives.

Under supervision, the assistant coordinates travel, handles logistics for events, supports procurement, and maintains project documentation in line with ICMPD procedures; English and Urdu proficiency is required. This recruitment is contingent upon donor contract signature.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with procurement support processes and documentation.
• Strong written and spoken English; Urdu proficiency required.

Job description

As part of the ICMPD Silk Routes region, the Project Management Assistant contributes to the implementation of the EU-funded project “Support to Integrated Border Management in Pakistan" and other border management initiatives.

Under the overall supervision of the Project Manager, the Project Management Assistant supports the implementation of project workplan and activities requiring logistical and administrative support. They organise travel, manage logistics for project events, support procurement processes, and maintain project documentation in line with ICMPD procedures.

The Project Management Assistant also supports the implementation of the procurement plan, including the preparation of requisition documents, market outreach, support for procurement processes, delivery coordination, and the transfer of equipment to beneficiaries.

Proficiency in English and Urdu (verbal/written) is required.

This recruitment is contingent upon the signature of the contract with the donor.
