Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of practical experience in Upwork bidding/business development.
• Proven experience winning projects on Upwork.
• Strong written and spoken English; excellent copywriting and proposal-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Find and research relevant Upwork projects.
• Evaluate projects based on client requirements, budget, competition and potential.
• Write customized and persuasive Upwork proposals.
• Use copywriting and sales techniques to improve proposal conversions.
• Communicate professionally with international clients.
• Follow up with potential clients and manage opportunities through the sales process.
• Help convert qualified leads into paying clients.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Identify opportunities for recurring projects and retainers.
• Track proposals, responses, interviews, projects won and revenue generated.
• Continuously improve bidding and client-acquisition strategies.
• Communicate the value of our services to the team.
