Job summary

COLSA Corporation in Huntsville, AL seeks a motivated UAS Training Specialist to develop and execute training programs for uncrewed systems in classroom and field environments, lead sessions for team members and customers, and provide hands‑on instruction and operational support at customer sites.

The role requires developing training curricula, evaluating effectiveness, and coordinating with military customers. Travel up to 30% (CONUS/OCONUS) and active DoD clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of related UAS experience, including military instructional materials.
• Experience as a Commissioned Officer, Warrant Officer, or NCO.
• Must be willing to travel up to 30% of the year (CONUS/OCONUS).
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and be able to move items as needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Employs UAS equipment in support of training scenarios and test ranges.
• Develops and maintains training curriculum and materials.
• Conducts online and classroom training sessions.
• Evaluates training effectiveness and maintains records.
• Provides input from military experience to support system development.
