Job summary

UNDP UNCDF/UNV is seeking a Travel and Logistics Associate for its Rule of Law Programme in Pakistan. The role provides dedicated travel, mission, event-logistics and related administrative support to official programme activities.

You'll coordinate travel plans, bookings, and documentation, liaise with service providers, and ensure timely, accurate arrangements in line with UNDP policies. Collaboration with operations and programme teams is essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate official travel and mission arrangements according to UNDP travel policies and procedures.
• Assist in preparing travel requests, plans, itineraries, tickets, accommodation and related documents.
• Liaise with travel service providers and UNDP units to secure options and timely modifications.
• Support security-related travel requirements and provide traveler information to focal points.
• Maintain travel and mission calendars and follow up on pending approvals and arrangements.
• Provide travelers with administrative information and resolve travel-related issues as needed.
• Coordinate post-travel documentation and claims and check submissions for completeness.
• Maintain organized records of travel authorisations, itineraries, tickets and claims in accordance with records management requirements.
• Coordinate with Operations & Finance on travel budgets, advances, claims and reconciliations.
• Track travel status and costs for program monitoring and planning.
• Coordinate logistics for programme workshops, trainings, consultations, conferences and events.
• Arrange venues, accommodation, local transport, interpretation, AV equipment, printing and catering as required.
• Support participant registration and attendance records and liaise with vendors for timely service delivery.
