Job summary

UNIDO in Pakistan seeks a Driver/Support role to provide reliable driving services and administrative/logistical support for the Country Office. The incumbent will ensure safe transport for staff, assist officials at airports, and handle mail, documents, and calendar logistics.

Two years of driving experience required; UN system exposure and ERP familiarity are desirable. Proficiency in MS Office and good organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of driver experience.
• University degree holders require at least one year of experience.
• Knowledge of national traffic laws and a clean driving record.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet use.
• Experience driving high-ranking officials within the UN system or in a multicultural environment desirable.
• Experience providing administrative support to managerial staff and with ERP software desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely transportation for UNIDO staff and authorized personnel.
• Meet and assist officials at the airport.
• Deliver and collect mail and documents.
• Arrange vehicle maintenance and repairs, maintaining logs and ensuring safety regulations are met.
• Report any vehicle incidents.
• Perform clerical and administrative tasks, including drafting correspondence, photocopying, filing, and updating contact information.
• Provide logistical support for workshops and field trips.
• Assist with calendar management and travel arrangements for the UCR.
