Job summary

UNDP Careers in Pakistan is seeking an Operations & Finance Analyst to support the Rule of Law Programme, based in Islamabad. You will report to the Team Lead – Programme Specialist and collaborate with country office colleagues.

The role covers budget planning, forecasting, monitoring expenditures, internal controls, donor reporting and risk management to ensure timely, accountable and compliant programme delivery.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification or advanced degree in finance/accounting.
• Experience in financial management, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience with donor-funded programmes and UNDP rules is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial management and administrative support for programme delivery.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, expenditure monitoring and financial reporting.
• Ensure internal controls, risk management and audit readiness.
• Coordinate with UNDP Country Office on operational processes and donor requirements.
