Fly Air in Islamabad is seeking a Travel Consultant to manage end-to-end bookings and craft tailored itineraries for leisure and corporate clients. This on-site role reports to the Sales and Operations Lead in Islamabad.

You will handle reservations, advise on routes, and drive sales while ensuring accuracy in fare, tax, and invoicing. Strong English/Urdu communication and CRM proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in airline ticketing or travel reservations.
• GDS experience with Amadeus, Sabre or Galileo.
• Knowledge of fare construction, ticketing rules and refunds.
• Proficient in MS Excel and CRM tools.
• Excellent English and Urdu communication.
• Strong customer service and sales focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage flight, hotel and car reservations using GDS and agency platforms.
• Issue tickets, reissues, refunds and endorsements.
• Advise clients on routes, fares, baggage, visas and documentation.
• Create itineraries and cost estimates within budgets and company policies.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email and in person; resolve issues.
• Identify upsell opportunities and meet sales targets.
• Maintain fare, tax and invoice records and perform reconciliation.
• Use MS Excel and CRM tools for reporting and follow-up.

Role Overview

The Travel Consultant will manage end-to-end booking processes, provide tailored itinerary recommendations, and ensure smooth travel experiences for clients. This is an on-site position in Islamabad reporting to the Sales and Operations Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage flight, hotel and car reservations using GDS and agency reservation platforms.
• Issue and reissue tickets; process refunds and endorsements.
• Advise clients on route options, fares, baggage rules, travel documentation and visa guidance for common destinations.
• Create customized itineraries and cost estimates for leisure and business travelers, ensuring compliance with budgets and company policies.
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email and in-person; resolve booking issues and schedule changes.
• Identify upsell opportunities and meet sales/service targets.
• Maintain accurate fare, tax and invoice records and perform reconciliation.
• Use MS Excel and CRM tools for reporting and follow-up on outstanding issues.

Job Specification

Must-have

• Minimum 2 years experience in airline ticketing, travel agency reservations or passenger sales.
• Practical GDS experience: Amadeus, Sabre or Galileo preferred.
• Knowledge of fare construction, ticketing rules, reissue/refund procedures and ticket endorsements.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel) and comfortable with reservation systems, CRM and payment processing tools.
• Excellent verbal and written English and Urdu.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving, numerical accuracy and organizational skills.
• Sales aptitude with ability to meet targets.

Preferred

• IATA/UFTAA certification or GDS training.
