The ideal candidate has 2–3 years’ telecom experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to travel to multiple project sites while adhering to safety standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years’ experience with telecom equipment vendors and network monitoring tools.
• CCNA or similar certifications are a plus.

Role Description

The Telecommunications Engineer (Site) role is a full-time, In-Field position based in Punjab (Faisalabad, Sargodha, Rahim Yar Khan, Toba, Layyah, Multan) and Baluchistan. This role is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining telecommunications systems and related network infrastructure at customer and company sites. Day-to-day tasks include performing site surveys, supporting network and voice system deployments, conducting system testing, and ensuring uptime and reliability of telecom services. The engineer will diagnose and resolve technical issues, provide hands‑on technical support, and coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors to implement network design changes and upgrades. The role also includes maintaining documentation, adhering to safety and compliance standards, and contributing to continuous improvement of telecom operations and service quality.

Job Roles Specifications

• Perform telecom equipment installation, integration, and TI Swap activities.
• Execute and supervise Power installation and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Support Microwave (MW) installation, alignment, and configuration activities.
• Conduct site surveys, technical inspections, and installation checks.
• Ensure equipment and installations comply with project specifications.
• Prepare PAT, installation, commissioning, and other technical documentation.
• Coordinate with the Team Leader, client, and technical teams.
• Identify and report technical issues encountered during site activities.

Required Skills

• Relevant experience in telecom installation and site engineering.
• Experience in TI Swap, MW, Power, and telecom equipment installation.
• Knowledge of equipment will be an advantage.
• Good troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work at different project locations.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Telecommunications Systems and Voice over IP (VoIP), with the ability to configure, maintain, and optimize site-level solutions.
• Proficiency in Network Design for telecom environments, including routing, switching, and integration with existing infrastructure.
• Hands‑on Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose, resolve, and prevent service‑impacting issues.
• Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Two to Three years experience with telecom equipment vendors, network monitoring tools, and industry standards; knowledge of security and data integrity practices is an advantage.
• Ability to work on‑site at customer and company locations in Punjab and Baluchistan, including field visits, with strong attention to safety and compliance.
• Effective communication and documentation skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Prior experience in telecom, networking, or related infrastructure roles is preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA or similar) are a plus.
