Techner Ltd is recruiting a Telecom Design Engineer to lead UK telecom network rollout projects from a remote Pakistan-based location. The role focuses on RAN design, detailed design packages, and site documentation to ensure high-quality delivery and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 8–12 years of hands-on telecom design experience, strong AutoCAD and MS Office skills, and a solid grasp of UK operator standards.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years hands-on telecom design experience in RAN projects.
• Strong knowledge of Detailed Design (DD), Redlines, and As-Built documentation.
• Proven understanding of UK telecom rollout processes and operator standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering; excellent document control.

Responsibilities

• Produce and update Detailed Design (DD) packages based on survey data and client specs.
• Prepare and review site design drawings – layouts, schematics, GA drawings, and As-Built documentation.
• Ensure full compliance with UK operator standards, planning regulations, and Health & Safety requirements.
• Interpret site survey reports and translate into structured engineering designs.
• Collaborate with project engineers, planners, and construction teams to resolve design queries.
• Maintain document control and design accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support design approvals, QA, and document control.

About the Role:

We're hiring a skilled Telecom Design Engineer to join a fast-growing team delivering UK telecom network rollout projects. This is a great opportunity for an experienced RAN design professional to work on telecom network design and delivery projects and grow within an international engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and update Detailed Design (DD) packages based on survey data, site inputs, and client specifications
• Prepare and review site design drawings – layouts, schematics, GA drawings, and As-Built documentation
• Ensure full compliance with UK operator standards, planning regulations, andHealth & Safety requirements
• Interpret site survey reports and translate them into structured engineering designs
• Collaborate with project engineers, planners, and construction teams to resolve design queries
• Maintain document control and design accuracy throughout the project lifecycle
• Support design approvals, QA, and document control

Must-Have Requirements:

• Must have 8–12 years of hands‑on telecom design experience in RAN projects.
• Strong AutoCAD expertise, along with MS Office and telecom documentation tools.
• Must have proven experience in Detailed Design (DD), Redlines, and As-Built documentation.
• Strong understanding of UK telecom rollout processes and operator standards
