About the role

7Vals is moving from being a vendor to a trusted partner to our customers. As part of that, we're building a professional services function to deliver integrations and custom work for enterprise accounts — without compromising the upgradeability and integrity of our platform.

We're looking for a Technical Project Manager to own the delivery of custom and integration work end to end: scoping it correctly, setting expectations, managing partners and internal engineers, and knowing when and how to say no to customization that would hurt the customer in the long run.

This is a foundational hire and the pillar of how we deliver professional services. The bar is high.

What you'll do

1. Own projects end to end: Scope, deliver, and communicate — own custom and integration projects end to end, from requirements gathering to milestones, delivery, and customer updates.
2. Manage expectations: Secure clear sign-offs and keep customers appropriately updated throughout.
3. Hold the line on customization: Protect the customer's long-term success and our platform's upgradeability; say no when custom work would create technical debt or architectural liability.
4. Manage delivery across teams: Coordinate internal engineers and external implementation partners, and manage vendor relationships to keep quality and timelines on track.
5. Partner across functions: Qualify custom and integration requests with sales, and align with product and engineering on what we can support.

What we're looking for

1. Proven project management experience delivering platform-specific custom work — e.g. for a partner or firm that does Salesforce, HubSpot, Atlassian, ServiceNow, or similar customization and implementation. Not a generic custom dev shop background.
2. A track record of running projects to the dot: milestones, sign-offs, expectation management, and satisfied customers.
3. Experience understanding why projects fail — and ideally, having been brought in to fix failed ones.
4. Outcome-driven, high ownership, and comfortable holding a firm line with customers when it's the right call.
5. A strong grasp of the trade-offs between customization and maintaining a clean, upgradeable SaaS platform.

Nice to have

1. Experience managing external implementation partners or vendors.
2. Familiarity with enterprise integration work — internal systems, private cloud deployments.
