Job summary

Bestway Cement Limited is seeking a Technical Officer to handle shift operations for Convertex machines and plant equipment. The role involves monitoring performance, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring production targets and quality compliance are met.

You will work with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to minimize downtime and optimize processes, while maintaining accurate shift records and performance data.

Qualifications

• Minimum 06 to 08 years of relevant experience.
• DAE Mechanical.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of the shift and ensure smooth operation of Convertex machines and related equipment.
• Monitor machine performance, production parameters, utilities, and equipment conditions during the shift.
• Troubleshoot operational and technical issues and coordinate with Maintenance for timely corrective action.
• Ensure machines are operated within defined parameters to achieve production and quality targets.
• Monitor production output, material consumption, waste, and machine efficiency.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
• Ensure proper machine settings and process parameters are maintained as per production requirements.
• Monitor product quality and report deviations.
• Allocate duties to shift staff according to operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate production, machine performance, breakdown, and shift records.

The role will also coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.
