Job summary

Master Group is seeking an Officer Maintenance for its Manufacturing/Production segment to support electrical and automation uptime. The role involves assisting in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of PLC systems, VFDs, control panels, motors, and sensors.

Ideal candidates hold BE/BTech/DAE in Electrical/Electronics with 1–3 years in a manufacturing or automation environment, and basic fault-finding skills across PLCs and related devices.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/DAE in Electrical or Electronics required.
• 1–3 years in manufacturing/industrial automation preferred.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, HMIs and sensors is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, wiring, and commissioning of automation panels, motors, sensors, and control systems.
• Support troubleshooting and maintenance of PLC‑controlled machines (Siemens, Delta, Mitsubishi, etc.).
• Perform routine inspections of VFDs, relays, contactors, controllers and other devices.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC I/O layouts.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and repairs.

SUMMARY:To support maintenance of electrical and automation production machinery to ensure smooth operations, minimize downtime, and maintain production efficiency through timely preventive and corrective maintenance. The role involves assisting in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of PLC systems, VFDs, control panels, motors, and industrial sensors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the installation, wiring, and commissioning of automation panels, motors, sensors, and control systems.
• Support troubleshooting and maintenance of PLC-controlled machines Siemens, Delta, Mitsubishi, etc.
• Perform routine inspections of VFDs, relays, contactors, controllers, and other field devices to ensure proper functionality.
• Read and interpret basic electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC I/O layouts.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize machine downtime.
• Replace faulty electrical components including wiring, limit switches, proximity sensors, and related devices.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and repairs.
• Follow all HSE and safety procedures during maintenance work.
• Assist vendors and technicians during specialized repair work when required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Education: BE / BTech / DAE (Electrical, Electronics, or relevant technical field)

Experience: 1–3 years in a manufacturing/industrial automation environment

PERSONAL SKILLS:

• Basic knowledge of PLC systems, VFDs, HMIs and sensors
• Electrical troubleshooting and fault-finding ability
• Understanding of industrial safety practices
