Job summary

Devexcelit is seeking a Social Media Executive to manage and grow our social channels, with a focus on technical content and IT topics. You will craft engaging posts, coordinate with technical teams, and drive campaigns to boost brand awareness.

The role requires hands-on experience in social media marketing and the ability to simplify complex tech concepts for a broad audience. Collaboration with marketing and tech teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 8 months to 1.5 years of hands-on experience in Social Media Management/Marketing.
• Practical experience in creating technical/IT-related content is required.
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
• Excellent content writing and communication skills.
• Ability to research and understand technical topics.
• Ability to simplify technical information into engaging and easy-to-understand content.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company's social media presence across platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant channels.
• Develop and execute engaging social media content aligned with the company's brand and marketing objectives.
• Create content for technical and IT-related topics, including software development, web development, technologies, digital solutions, and industry trends.
• Convert complex technical concepts into simple, creative, and engaging social media content.
• Plan and maintain a consistent social media content calendar.
• Write captions, post copy, campaign content, and other social media communications.
• Coordinate with technical and marketing teams to gather relevant information and develop accurate content.
• Research industry trends, competitor activities, trending topics, and relevant content opportunities.
• Monitor audience engagement, comments, messages, and overall community interaction.
• Track social media performance and analyze key metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Assist in developing and executing social media campaigns for brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
• Stay updated with changes in social media platforms, trends, content formats, and best practices.
