Job summary

Prime System Solutions is seeking a System & Network Engineer (Level II) to oversee IT infrastructure across client environments, spanning on‑premises and cloud setups. You will manage networks, servers, virtualization, and security to ensure business continuity.

The role requires hands-on experience with Windows Server, VMware/Hyper‑V, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure, plus firewall and VPN expertise. You’ll collaborate with teams and document all work in ticketing systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a System and Network Administrator.
• Proficiency with Windows Server (2008-2022) and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Network and System Administration: Administer and maintain client network infrastructures, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
• Manage server environments, both on‑premises and in the cloud, using Windows Server and virtualization technologies.
• Support and administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure environments.
• Implement and maintain firewalls and VPN solutions to ensure secure remote access.
• Security and Compliance: monitor security protocols, perform vulnerability scans, and patch management.
• Provide Level 1 and 2 support; diagnose and resolve issues using remote management tools.
• Virtualization and Cloud: administer VMware environments and Azure cloud services.
• Ticketing and Documentation: use ConnectWise, Kaseya, ServiceNow; document configurations and resolutions.
• Monitoring and Reporting: monitor performance and provide regular reports to management.
