Job description
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine business needs and assess existing infrastructure and systems for improvements
Manage Installation, configuration, and ongoing monitoring of the Virtualization infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
Troubleshoot, technical support and resolve issues within the Virtualization environment, promoting a proactive approach to system health
Oversee the installation, configuration and administration of Linux servers, ensuring system stability and security
Manage and deploy SAN switches, including installation and configuration to ensure smooth operations. Implement and monitor vulnerability scanners to maintain system security and compliance
Manage and maintain the Active Directory environment, including user accounts, groups, Group Policies, domain controllers and replication, and other related services to ensure secure and efficient identity and access management with security best practices
Prepare and maintain the disaster recovery (DR) site, including server rack mounting, installation, and configuration. Datacenter monitoring, new servers Rack mount, installation, and management
Install and maintain the health and capacity of storage systems (SAN), with an emphasis on security and compliance. Administer Linux servers, including services like NFS, FTP, HTTPD, CIFS, and NTP
Configure and manage Linux SAMBA Server
Manage updates and patch management of complete infrastructure

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field
Certified Linux Administrator, or other relevant certifications are a plus
4-5 years' experience in servers, storage, and virtualization with a strong understanding of Virtualization solutions, Windows Server, Linux Ubuntu, and VEEAM for backup and recovery
Strong technical skills in server deployment, storage management, and virtualization technologies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work effectively with diverse teams. Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ongoing learning and development
Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail
