Job summary

Indus Hospital is seeking a capable medical assistant to support surgical and clinical procedures. You will arrange and maintain equipment and instruments for special procedures, clean all medical gear, prepare dressings, assist doctors in plaster applications, joint reductions, stitching, and dressings, and manage trolleys with minimal supervision.

Required education is Matric with a relevant diploma and 1–2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Matric with diploma (prefer Intermediate)
• 1-2 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Arrange and maintain equipment and instruments for special procedures.
• Clean all medical equipment.
• Arrange surgical instruments for the procedure.
• Arrange trolleys with minimum supervision.
• To assist doctor in plaster application.
• To assist doctor in joint reduction.
• To change dressing of patients.
• To assist doctors in stitching applications.
• To assist doctors in joint dislocation.
• To prepare, maintain & provide sterilized dressing set to doctors.
• Perform all tasks as assigned by the Head of Department.
