Indus Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). Fresh candidates are invited, preferably with up to 1 year of experience. Matriculation with a relevant diploma is required.

The role involves providing basic patient care under supervision, monitoring vital signs, documenting observations in HMIS, assisting in procedures, and coordinating admissions, transfers, and discharges in a fast-paced SICU environment.

Qualifications

• Matriculation with relevant Diploma.
• Fresh candidate, preferably with 01 Year of experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide basic and supportive patient care under the supervision of the Senior Staff Nurse/Staff Nurse.
• Report in time on duty as per schedule shift in assigned areas.
• Measure, monitor, and accurately record vital signs and assigned patient observations.
• Observe patients for changes in condition and promptly report signs of deterioration to the responsible nurse.
• Assist nursing staff with routine nursing procedures within the defined scope of practice and competency.
• Administer medications, authorized and permitted within the defined service scope.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, monitoring, and interventions in HMIS.
• Assist with patient admission, transfer, discharge, and transportation as required.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, physicians, and multidisciplinary team members.
