Job summary

MR International is seeking an experienced and highly organized Supply Chain & Fleet Manager to oversee purchasing, inventory, warehousing, distribution, and fleet operations in Islamabad. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, a bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field, and strong MS Excel skills for reporting.

• Strong knowledge of inventory, procurement, warehousing, logistics, and fleet operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing, inventory, warehousing, and distribution activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers for orders, deliveries, pricing, and stock.
• Ensure timely availability and delivery of products.
• Monitor stock movement and maintain inventory levels.
• Coordinate with Sales, Accounts, Warehouse, and Management.
• Plan and monitor daily vehicle routes and deliveries.
• Maintain vehicle records, insurance, registration, and maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor drivers' attendance, routes, and performance.
• Ensure vehicles are used for authorized company purposes.
• Maintain proper records of fuel, maintenance, trips, and vehicle expenses.
• Take necessary action in case of vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or operational issues.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain & Logistics

• Manage purchasing, inventory, warehousing, and distribution activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers for orders, deliveries, pricing, and stock availability.
• Ensure timely availability and delivery of products.
• Monitor stock movement and maintain proper inventory levels.
• Coordinate with Sales, Accounts, Warehouse, and Management.
• Manage import shipment schedules and related logistics.
• Prepare regular supply chain and inventory reports.
• Control logistics costs and improve operational efficiency.

Fleet Management

• Manage the company's vehicles and transportation operations.
• Plan and monitor daily vehicle routes and deliveries.
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers.
• Monitor vehicle fuel consumption, mileage, and running costs.
• Maintain vehicle records, documents, insurance, registration, and maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor drivers' attendance, performance, routes, and discipline.
• Ensure vehicles are used only for authorized company purposes.
• Maintain proper records of fuel, maintenance, trips, and vehicle expenses.
• Take necessary action in case of vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or operational issues.

Job Specification: Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, fleet, or transportation management.
• Strong knowledge of inventory, procurement, warehousing, logistics, and fleet operations.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and reporting.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and team-management skills.
• Ability to manage drivers, vehicles, suppliers, and logistics operations.
• Must be responsible, organized, and able to work under pressure.
