Job summary

Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) is seeking a Financial Aid Specialist to manage the aid process, assess applications, and communicate decisions to students and families. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, plus collaboration with Admissions, Finance, and other offices.

You will guide students on funding options, ensure compliance with policies, and maintain detailed records in the student management system while supporting equitable aid allocation.

Qualifications

• BS(Hons) degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Education, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized institution.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess financial aid applications for completeness, accuracy and policy compliance.
• Provide guidance to students regarding funding options, payment plans, and financial estimates.
• Counsel students and parents on financial aid policies, documentation requirements, and timelines.
• Conduct interviews and verification assessments with students and parents to establish need.
• Maintain accurate records of aid disbursements, adjustments, and case histories in the student management system.
• Coordinate with Admissions, Finance, and Registrar for information sharing and case resolution.
