Job summary

UNDP Pakistan invites applications for a full-time procurement role focused on TOR development, tendering, and e-procurement across UNDP projects. The incumbent will coach staff, ensure compliance with UNDP rules, and support contract management while coordinating with project teams.

The position requires an advanced degree in Business/Public Administration or equivalent, plus international procurement experience.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required; or bachelor’s with two years relevant international experience.
• CIPS Level 3 is highly desirable and should be obtained within one year of recruitment.
• Fluency in English and Urdu is required; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop TORs and specifications for consultancy, research and services.
• Review TORs and specifications for quality and procurement compliance.
• Build staff capacity to develop succinct TORs with clear deliverables, timeframes and experience.
• Organize procurement processes including RFQs, ITBs and RFPs and evaluate bids.
• Provide guidance on contract management, risk assessment and supplier performance.
