Job summary

Jaffer Brothers Private Limited in Karachi is seeking an Executive Buyer to manage local procurement for the HEIS division, ensuring timely sourcing, competitive pricing, and quality compliance.

You will collaborate with Business Units, Design, Quality Control, Finance, Warehouse, and Logistics to optimize supplier performance, negotiate terms, and drive cost reductions while aligning with project timelines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• BBA/MBA in Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant procurement/buying experience.
• Experience in technical, project-based, engineering, or industrial environments preferred.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Understanding of local sourcing, regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Understand and translate HEIS procurement requirements, technical specs, and project timelines into effective sourcing plans.
• Manage end-to-end procurement cycle from requirement identification to PO issuance, contract execution, and payment reconciliation.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on quality, pricing, capacity, compliance, reliability, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate competitive commercial terms covering pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contractual conditions.
• Collaborate with Business Units, Design, Quality Control, Finance, Warehouse, and Logistics to ensure timely procurement aligned with budgets and project requirements.
