Job summary

GOLDLION is seeking an experienced and hands-on HR Manager to oversee all human resource operations in Pakistan, establishing local HR systems and leading end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, compensation & benefits, employee relations, and performance management.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the Pakistani labor market, drive organizational effectiveness in a multi-cultural environment, and act as a key liaison between local teams and HQ.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of full-spectrum HR management experience in Pakistan.
• Familiarity with Pakistani recruitment channels, payroll processes, statutory benefits, and employee relations practices.
• Strong organizational, conflict-resolution, and administrative management skills.
• English as a Working Language: professional fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory. Fluency in Urdu is essential for local employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and refine local HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks aligned with company strategy and local market practices.
• Oversee local day-to-day workplace operations, administrative HR matters, and organizational discipline to maintain a professional, productive office culture.
• Drive end-to-end recruitment efforts for key local positions; expand local recruitment channels and partner with agencies to build a reliable talent pipeline.
• Manage local payroll execution, tax withholdings, and statutory benefits (e.g., EOBI, PESSI, Gratuity, Provident Fund); review local market salary benchmarks to optimize compensation structures.
• Handle employee onboarding, contracts, offboarding, grievances, and internal communications to ensure a positive and compliant workplace atmosphere.
• Act as the key liaison between local Pakistani teams and HQ management, ensuring clear communication and alignment on business objectives.
