Job summary

HR POD - Hiring Talent Globally in Pakistan seeks a seasoned finance leader to guide strategy, governance, and capital deployment as CFO or Deputy CFO. You will lead financial planning, reporting, and capital allocation while maintaining strong regulatory relationships.

The role requires 12+ years of executive finance experience, with deep SBP/SECP knowledge and a record of navigating regulated financial services or fintech environments. ACCA/ICAP/CPA/CFA are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of finance leadership experience, including CFO or Deputy CFO roles.
• Experience in SBP/SECP-regulated lenders, NBFCs, EMI, PSO, or PSP.
• Direct experience with NBFC/EMI/PSP licensing and regulatory processes in Pakistan.
• Strong knowledge of SBP and SECP regulations, financial reporting, compliance, governance, and audits.
• Experience in regulated financial services or fintech environments.
• Experience reporting to offshore parent, Board, or Group HQ, preferably in the Gulf.
• Strong experience in capital raising, funding, treasury, and capital deployment.
• Strong commercial and strategic finance skills with growth and regulatory focus.
• ICAP, ACCA, CPA, or CFA qualification preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, planning, capital allocation, and treasury for the business.
• Oversee finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with SBP and SECP requirements, including filings, audits, and reporting.
• Manage relationships with regulators, auditors, banks, legal advisors, and financial institutions.
• Strengthen financial controls, risk frameworks, policies, and reporting processes.
• Prepare financial and regulatory reports for the Group CEO and offshore Board/Group HQ.
• Lead capital raising, funding strategy, investor and lender relationships, and capital deployment.
• Advise the CEO and leadership team on growth, profitability, unit economics, and financial strategy.
• Build and lead a lean finance team with the systems and controls needed to scale.
