Job summary

ICAP, the national professional and regulatory body for the accountancy profession in Pakistan, is seeking an accomplished finance leader to join its Executive Leadership Team as Chief Financial Officer. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the CFO will steward the finances of a national institution, modernising its financial systems and upholding governance standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years post-qualification experience in finance, accounting, treasury, planning, budgeting, taxation, and investment management.
• At least 4 years in a senior finance leadership role owning organisational financial strategy and governance.
• Proven track record in financial reporting, statutory compliance, treasury, audits, stakeholder management.
• Experience reporting to Boards or Audit/Executive Committees is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute ICAP's financial strategy as principal financial advisor to Council and Committees.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, cash flow, and investment management across reserves, endowment, and designated funds.
• Own the integrity of financial reporting, accounting operations, taxation, payroll governance, and statutory compliance.
• Strengthen governance through internal controls, enterprise risk management, audit coordination, and procurement oversight.
• Drive finance digital transformation, ERP optimisation, process automation, and modernisation of financial systems.
• Lead a high-performing Finance function and manage relationships with banks, auditors, regulators, and investment advisors.
