Job summary

The STEM Educators in Lahore seeks a STEM Instructor to develop computational thinking in students using Scratch, Unity, Python, and C#.

The role offers flexible teaching hours (about 5 hours daily) with time allocated for teaching, evaluations, attendance management, personal learning and growth.

Qualifications

• All Instructors will have to undergo a training period (Min 2 - 4 weeks) during which they will be evaluated.
• A good understanding of remote-work tools such as Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slack and Zoom is necessary.
• Having strong subject knowledge of Computer Science would be a good advantage but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Delivering classes on courses to develop computational thinking using tools/languages like Scratch, Unity, Python, C# and more.
• Participating in regular professional development to enhance pedagogical content knowledge and instructional design.
• With flexible scheduling, instructors choose their teaching hours, totaling about 5 hours daily including teaching, evaluations, attendance management, and personal growth.

The STEM Educators is dedicated to equipping learners with the tools and training needed to thrive in the 21st century. Through carefully designed STEM courses, the organization fosters curiosity, problem-solving, and intrinsic motivation in children. Learners work on hands-on projects ranging from building burglar alarm systems to creating 3D games in Unity. These experiences encourage students to combine creative imagination with technical knowledge to bring their ideas to life, preparing them for real-world challenges in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Join our team as a STEM Instructor and help develop computational thinking skills in students through innovative teaching methods using modern programming tools and languages.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering classes on any of our courses related to developing computational thinking skills through tools and languages like Scratch, Unity, Python, C# and more.
• Going through regular professional development programs to grow one's understanding of pedagogical content knowledge, Instructional & Assessment design, and the development of computational thinking skills in K-12 education.
• With a lot of flexibility around on the schedule, our instructors chose their own hours of teaching. With a full requirement of approximately 5 hours a day including teaching, evaluations, attendance management, personal learning and growth.
