Job summary

Liaquat National Hospital is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to provide direct patient care and support across units in Karachi.

The role requires adherence to IPSG guidelines, accurate record-keeping, and timely documentation of assessments, care plans, and nursing interventions while maintaining patient safety and quality standards.

Candidates should hold a Post RN BSc.N/BSc.N or a Diploma in Nursing with 1-2 years of relevant experience; BLS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Post RN BSc.N/BSc.N (four years)/Diploma Nursing with 1-2 years’ experience as a Staff Nurse.
• Preferably certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).

• Assess and provide healthcare to patients.
• Administer medicines to patients and monitor
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs
• Implement International Patient Safety Goals (IPSG) to ensure continuous patient safety.
• Complete pre and post-requisites of all specialized invasive and non-invasive treatments.
• Maintain records and reports.
• Ensure timely documentation of assessment findings, care plans, nursing interventions, and evaluation in patient’s file.
