Contour Software Pvt Ltd is hiring a Staff Accountant in Karachi to maintain financial records and support month-end close. You will record transactions in F&O, assist in preparing financial statements, and ensure accuracy across reconciliations for AP/AR, GL, and intercompany accounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
• Finalist / Part Qualified Professional Accountant or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or business administration
• Knowledge of multi-currency transactions
• Advanced MS Excel skills: VLOOKUP and pivot tables
• Familiarity with IFRS reporting and month-end processes

Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions in F&O.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements with accuracy.
• Perform bank reconciliations and adjust postings.
• Reconcile AP and AR subledgers to the General Ledger.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.

Staff Accountant job duties include working closely with the existing team to create and analyze financial reports, involved in month-end process and able to perform reconciliations and journal entries. Our ideal candidate holds an Accounting degree and is familiar with Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations (F&O) accounting software.
